The Treadwells and PMG have won their legal fight against fake acts calling themselves The Drifters.
A court order prohibits former Drifters tour manager Philip Luderman and venue agent Mark Lundquist, plus former employees Rohan Turney, Peter Lamar, Patrick Allen and Victor Bynoe from ever using the name again.
Speaking from Los Angeles, Tina Treadwell, whose family has owned The Drifters ever since they were formed in 1953, announced: "We are thrilled by this outcome - for far too many years, The Drifters brand has been diluted. Now fans can be sure they can rely on a consistently high quality and authentic performance every time".
